Taylor Swift is taking legal action to protect one of the most valuable brands in entertainment, herself.
New trademark filings show that Swift is seeking legal protection over both her voice and visual likeness as concerns surrounding artificial intelligence and deepfake technology continue to escalate.
The filings reportedly include audio phrases such as “Hey, it’s Taylor Swift” as well as official imagery from her record-breaking Eras Tour.
Legal experts say the move could set an important precedent for artists worldwide, especially as AI-generated celebrity impersonations become increasingly sophisticated and difficult to regulate.
Swift has already faced unauthorized AI content in recent years, making this latest move both strategic and deeply personal.
As technology continues to blur the line between real and artificial, Swift may once again be setting the standard for the entertainment industry.
