Miley Cyrus shares emotional tribute to Dolly Parton

Miley Cyrus has shared a deeply personal tribute to her godmother, Dolly Parton, following the country music legend’s passing.

The singer described Dolly as her “Aunt Dolly” and explained that many of the most meaningful moments they shared would remain private.

“The feeling of losing my Aunt Dolly is beyond what feels right to share,” Miley wrote.

She revealed that one of their final conversations focused on music and metamorphosis. Miley added that she believes Dolly would want her to experience the grief, write a song about it and then continue being strong.

Miley concluded her tribute by writing: “I will always love her and want to make her proud.”

Dolly shared a close relationship with the Cyrus family and had been Miley’s godmother since she was a child.
