Instagram Introduces Long-Awaited Carousel Editing Feature

Instagram has begun rolling out a highly requested feature that allows users to reorder photos and videos within carousel posts, even after they have been published.

Previously, users who wanted to change the sequence of images in a carousel were required to delete the entire post and re-upload it. The new update removes this limitation, offering greater flexibility for content creators and everyday users alike. 

The editing process is straightforward: users can access a published carousel, tap “Edit,” and simply drag and reposition images or videos into their preferred order. 

As with many platform updates, the feature is being rolled out, meaning it may not yet be available to all users. 

This enhancement reflects Instagram’s continued focus on improving user control and content presentation, particularly for creators who rely on visual storytelling and sequencing.
