Apple announces September event with foldable iPhone expected

Apple has officially announced its next major event, which will take place on Wednesday, 9 September, with the keynote beginning at 7PM Malta time.

The event carries the tagline “Surprise and Shine” and is expected to feature the unveiling of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, alongside a new generation of Apple Watches.

However, the biggest announcement could be Apple’s long-rumoured first foldable iPhone. Reports suggest that the device could open into a screen similar in size to a small tablet, marking one of the company’s biggest design changes in years.

Apple has not confirmed which products will be presented, meaning there could still be a few surprises on the night.
