Early reports suggest the films could continue the numbered episodes of the Skywalker Saga, though the exact storyline and cast have not yet been officially confirmed by Lucasfilm.

Watts is already familiar with the franchise, having co-created and directed episodes of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.

For now, fans will have to wait for official details, but it looks like another journey to a galaxy far, far away may be getting closer.
