Rod Stewart announces final ever tour

Rod Stewart has announced that 2027’s The Final Encore will be his final tour.

The legendary singer, now 81, will bring more than six decades of life on the road to a close with a 21-date run across the UK and Europe. The tour begins at Dublin’s 3Arena on April 23, 2027, and is scheduled to end in Hannover, Germany, on July 24.

Rod said the time had come to say farewell to touring, although reports suggest he has not ruled out the occasional one-off performance in future.

The announcement follows a recent heart procedure that led him to cancel several performances while recovering.
