Sir David Attenborough wins Best TV Presenter at 100 years old

Sir David Attenborough is 100 years old and still collecting major television awards.

The legendary broadcaster has won Best TV Presenter at the 2026 National Television Awards, adding another achievement to an extraordinary career that has spanned more than seven decades.

Sir David received the award for his work narrating the BBC series “Secret Garden.” Although he was unable to attend the ceremony, a speech was delivered on his behalf highlighting the power of television to help audiences understand the natural world.

From groundbreaking wildlife documentaries to his unmistakable narration, Sir David has helped generations discover more about the planet and the urgent need to protect it.

A true television legend.
