Apple officially enters the foldable phone era with the iPhone Duo

The foldable iPhone is finally here.

Apple has officially unveiled the iPhone Duo, its first foldable smartphone, alongside the new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

The Duo features a 5.4-inch outer display for everyday use and opens to reveal a much larger 7.6-inch screen. It is powered by Apple’s new A20 Pro chip and will also support Apple Pencil functionality.

However, Apple’s latest device comes with an appropriately premium price. The iPhone Duo starts at $1,999 for the 256GB model, while versions with additional storage cost even more.

Pre-orders begin on 16th October, before the phone officially arrives on 23rd October.
