Apple’s iOS 26.4 Update Introduces New Emojis

Apple is preparing to roll out a fresh set of emojis with its upcoming iOS 26.4 update, giving iPhone users new ways to express themselves in messages.

The update will introduce eight new emojis, including a distorted face, fight cloud, hairy creature similar to Bigfoot, landslide, orca, trombone, ballet dancers, and a treasure chest.

These additions are part of the Unicode 17 emoji list, which was approved in 2025 and is now being incorporated into Apple’s emoji keyboard.

The emojis are currently available in the iOS 26.4 beta version and are expected to reach all users once the update officially launches. Like other emoji updates, the new icons will work across different platforms once supported by messaging apps and operating systems.

Emoji updates are typically included in Apple’s mid-cycle software releases, continuing the company’s effort to expand the visual language people use every day when communicating on their phones.
